74: Friendship and vulnerability with Deb Penner
From Project BFF HQ, Terri + Manya talk with Deb Penner about change, friendship, how we are so much more similar than we are different, and what we make things mean.
We discuss how women are permitted to be vulnerable and seek help, which is a way to build connection and friendship, and how that is an advantage over the way that men are expected to relate to each other. And men may have the advantage of spending time to make themselves happy, including friendship. Whereas women are often expected to put other people's needs first and may not take time to have friends.
Deb is an excuse-busting, dream-building, inspiration-generating, unfailingly passionate guide for women. You can learn more about her on her website: Drops In the Bucket, Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok.
