124: Finding your voice, with Erin Roberts
Why are we sometimes so afraid to use our voices?
Our voice sets us apart from other mammals, yet we can be so afraid to use it. For fear that our ideas will not be interesting enough or not have enough value. Even among our friends.
Listen in on our conversation with voice coach Erin Roberts as we talk about how our hearts and minds live in our bodies until we speak. And how it is up to each one of us to say what matter is on our mind and what matters to us to be seen fully by those who love us.
Erin Roberts is a singer, actress, teacher, partner, mother, sister, and spirit goddess who is passionate about self-expression. She teaches singers, actors, speakers, and everyday conversationalists how to use their voice and body to express themselves clearly, powerfully and confidently. She is the creator of Vocally Empowered (TM), a method that combines the science of speaking, the art of expressing, and the energy of our voices into a powerful process for using the voice with confidence. Erin's mission is to lead a movement in elevating women's voices everywhere, and supporting women in being heard worldwide.

Thank you for listening.
After much reflection, we have made the difficult decision to shut down Project BFF and the podcast. Our last podcast episode aired on August 23, 2024. We are leaving the podcast live on Buzzsprout through the end of 2024.
We are proud of this podcast and honored to have hosted such amazing and engaging guests.
Our hope is that Project BFF and Friendshipable have inspired you to form new friendships, strengthen existing ones, and encourage others to do the same
Thank you for being a part of our story. The two of us have truly deepened our friendship during this time, and we look forward to new and memorable adventures together in and around New England, which serves as the adopted home for both of us.
With gratitude and friendship,
Manya and Terri
