128: Friendships at work after 50, with Ellen Rothstein
Are you socially connected at work?
Those who work typically spend a lot of time at work. And work friendship are a benefit, but can get complicated. We want to find our own tribe within the workplace, but what do we do when someone leaves--does the friendship end? As we get older, our roles in the workplace evolve, and that can change friendship relationships, too.
Ellen Rothstein is a certified life transition coach and writes about friendship, aging, parenting adult children, empowerment, re-invention and relationships. Her coaching focus is helping people facing any type of life transition to create a positive vision for the next phase of their life, by identifying their values and collaborating on an actionable plan to implement change.

After much reflection, we have made the difficult decision to shut down Project BFF and the podcast. Our last podcast episode aired on August 23, 2024. We are leaving the podcast live on Buzzsprout through the end of 2024.
We are proud of this podcast and honored to have hosted such amazing and engaging guests.
Our hope is that Project BFF and Friendshipable have inspired you to form new friendships, strengthen existing ones, and encourage others to do the same
Thank you for being a part of our story. The two of us have truly deepened our friendship during this time, and we look forward to new and memorable adventures together in and around New England, which serves as the adopted home for both of us.
